Do you want to take the next step in your career and develop further within the field of calculation engineering? Is structural calculation and FEM your passion? Do you want to lead others and also assist with personnel, sales, and business development?

You now have the opportunity to take on a role as Team Leader in one of the leading calculation operations in the Nordics within structural and flow analysis.

We are looking for a senior calculation engineer with drive and interest in technology, leadership, and business development within the Swedish industry, with a focus on Östergötland as well as internationally. You have a background in one of the following competency areas:

• Linear and non-linear analyses
• Solid mechanics/plasticity theory
• Fracture mechanics and fatigue
• Structural and thermodynamics
• Advanced FEM simulations
• Code-based evaluation

You will carry out your own assignments and lead other calculation engineers as a project manager. You will assist with personnel matters and participate in business development work such as sales, customer visits, finding solutions to customer problems, writing quotations, etc.

Qualifications

You, as a candidate, are a civil engineer or have a research degree and have several years of industrial experience from calculation and simulation within FEM. We would like you to have good business contacts in the Swedish industry, especially in Östergötland, and thrive in a prominent role within personnel and business development.

You are interested in research and development and enjoy solving problems. Being able to combine theory with industrial understanding is significant. Furthermore, you are used to working independently and enjoy developing knowledge, packaging it, and communicating it further. Experience from project management and international work is meritorious.

As a person, you are humble, analytical, outgoing, proactive, unpretentious, and have an easy time collaborating. You master Swedish and English in speech and writing and can present results in an understandable manner, both orally and in writing.
