About the role

As a driver for us, you will work with transporting cars between our facilities, customers, and partners. You will often be the person representing Bilsmidigt during delivery or pickup at the customer's location, which means that service, responsibility, and punctuality are of great importance.

The work is varied and suits you if you are self-motivated, flexible, and solution-oriented. Unexpected situations may arise during drives, which is why we value people who can think independently, solve problems, and keep the customer updated in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

As a driver, you will among other things work with:

• Planning and booking the week's drives in consultation with our team
• Transporting cars between our various facilities
• Delivering cars to customers throughout Sweden
• Picking up cars from customers, suppliers, and partners
• Updating customers during the journey and planning arrival times
• Testing customers' cars according to the test protocol upon pickup
• Documenting any discrepancies, damages, or defects
• Solving unexpected problems that may arise during drives

Transportation is usually done by car, but travel by bus, train, or plane also occurs occasionally.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is confident behind the wheel, has a positive attitude, and likes to take responsibility. You need to be punctual, structured, and able to handle customer contact in a professional manner.

To fit the role, you need:

• A valid B-driver's license for manual transmission vehicles
• Good driving experience
• Access to your own car to get to our logistics center
• Ability to take at least 4 drives per week
• Flexibility and availability for drives during inconvenient working hours
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and early mornings for longer drives
• A clean criminal record (no convictions)
• Punctuality, structure, and responsibility
• A service-oriented and positive attitude towards customers
• Responsible, traffic-safe, and legal use of mobile phones while driving.

Experience in car transport, customer contact, logistics, route planning, or similar work is a plus.

The role starts as a hourly-paid position, but for the right person, there is an opportunity to get more drives, greater responsibility, and eventually grow into a more central role within our logistics operations.

This could, for example, involve responsibility for deliveries, route planning, customer contact, car testing, coordination of other drivers, or other roles within Bilsmidigt.

Employment and compensation

The position starts as an hourly-paid job with a wage of 130 SEK per hour including holiday pay.
