Job Responsibilities

You are warmly welcome to apply as a summer substitute assistant nurse (undersköterska) at Sturegården’s dementia care facility!

We are looking for you who want to be involved in providing good care and support to our residents. In the role of assistant nurse with us, you have the opportunity to create the best living environment for our residents from a person-centered approach. You work with care and professionalism in collaboration with the rest of the team and in close contact with our residents. This also involves working for good cooperation with other professional groups and relatives.

Main responsibilities include: Meeting the residents' individual needs for care and support, performing delegated healthcare interventions according to the Health and Medical Services Act, documentation, and service tasks.

Qualifications and Merits

• Completion of the Care and Nursing Program or Assistant Nurse education.
• Meritorious: Experience with dementia and elderly care.
• Confident in documentation and using various systems required for the work.
• Proficiency in Swedish, spoken and written (the work involves contact with residents, relatives, documentation, and reading information relevant to the work).
• Meritorious: Knowledge and experience with medication handling and medication delegation.
• Meritorious: Category B driver's license.

Employment type: Summer job / Holiday work.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months.
