We are looking for someone who wants to work with small-scale food craftsmanship in the countryside of Ängsö, with a genuine interest in service and sales.

Lake fishing in Lake Mälaren is the backbone of our operations, with processing and fish smoking year-round. Our fish shop with the smokehouse is located on the southwestern corner of Ängsö.

During the summer, we open up Fiskarfrun’s Cafe in the Fish Shop, serving lighter lunches and sandwiches, along with home-baked coffee bread. Adjacent to the Fish Shop, we have an Ice Cream Bar offering ball ice cream in waffles and cups, as well as sales of coffee breaks, sandwiches, and coffee bread.

The work involves various tasks, including serving our guests, preparing sandwiches, working the cash register, dishwashing, and cleaning.

You should be stress-resistant and have good physical stamina, as the work during the summer is intensive with a high pace on some days. Being service-oriented, responsible, and positive are important qualities. We would appreciate it if you were interested in cooking, had an eye for detail, and an interest in ingredients and flavors, but this is not a requirement. It is important to note that there is no local public transport to Ängsö, so you must have access to a car or moped to commute to work. Working hours follow our opening hours during the summer.

From week 27 to week 32, you will work 4 days per week, Thursday to Sunday, approximately between 09:00–17:00.
