In Ragunda Municipality, we offer an exciting opportunity to combine strategic leadership as Unit Manager for Administration, IT and Contingency Planning with the close and fast decision-making process in a small municipality. Your role with us

As Unit Manager with us, you will become a central figure. We have recently chosen to bring Administration, IT and Contingency Planning under the same umbrella to create synergy, and now we are looking for you who want to lead this journey. Your task will be to shape the unit, and you are given the mandate to set the structures, working methods and goals for our joint work. You have personnel, economic and operational responsibility for three specialist areas:

Administration: Responsibility for committee administration, registry and archives. You ensure legal security and good public administration.
IT: Strategic management of our digital environment, system administration and digitalization pace. IT has an operational manager.
Contingency Planning: Leadership of work with civil defense, crisis preparedness and security protection. Contingency Planning has an operational manager.

Your areas of responsibility and main tasks

Lead and develop the unit for contingency planning, IT and administration.
Streamline administrative working methods and ensure that the administration follows laws and policy documents.
Implement and monitor policies and routines for information security and data protection.
Drive development projects within digitalization and information security.
Ensure that the organization is prepared for incidents and crises.
Act as an advisor to management on matters concerning law, security and IT strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have relevant academic education in security, IT, law or equivalent, or alternatively experience that the employer considers equivalent. We also place great emphasis on your personal suitability and your ability to build relationships. You have knowledge in at least one of the unit's areas of responsibility and a genuine interest in the others.

You also have good communication skills and can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders, as well as having the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. We are looking for you who are a communicative leader with the ability to prioritize in a complex everyday life. You are used to moving between strategic decisions and operational issues.

Since the role is new, it is required that you are self-reliant, initiative-taking and have a pedagogical ability to explain why security and structure are everyone's responsibility.

If you have experience of leading in change or starting up operations, and have experience of leadership with personnel and budget responsibility, preferably in the public sector, it is meritorious. Properties such as solution-focused, structured and having a strong drive are seen as meritorious.

The position is placed in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be carried out before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
