Do you want to be part of a specialized and development-oriented clinic where you are close to the operational activities?
Here, you have a unique opportunity to work in an engaged and competent team with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous development. You will primarily work with our outpatient surgical operations and will be gradually introduced to performing eye injections – an advanced and independent task within a highly specialized field.

The role contributes to our 24/7 operations by including at least two weekend shifts per month.
We are looking for
We are seeking a registered nurse with very good knowledge of Swedish, equivalent to level C1. Experience in ophthalmic care and knowledge of the medical record systems Cosmic and VAS are meritorious. Experience from other healthcare sectors, especially within ophthalmology and/or surgery, as well as knowledge of other languages, are also valued. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has good teamwork skills, and thrives working both independently and in a team. You are creative, flexible, and contribute an engaged and solution-oriented approach to daily work.
What you will work with
At the Eye Clinic in Gällivare, you will become part of a small and tightly knit team where collaboration and team spirit are in focus. We offer a varied and developmental role within both emergency and planned ophthalmic care. As a nurse, you work independently with your own clinics and patient assessments, while also being part of our daily workflows involving clinic activities, examinations, and surgeries. You work closely with several different specialties within ophthalmology, providing excellent opportunities for professional development and growth.

Information about the position
We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date as agreed. Working hours are primarily daytime, Monday to Friday. The position is mainly scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday. Two weekend shifts per month on our inpatient ward are included.
Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
