On the fresh food department, you will be part of a tight-knit team working efficiently to offer customers the highest level of service, the finest ingredients, high stock levels, and culinary joy. We work with some of Sweden's and the world's leading producers to offer our customers the absolute best in food. In the manual delicatessen counter, cheese, charcuterie, meat, fish, and shellfish are displayed together. In our kitchen, we produce food for the food bar, catering, as well as meal boxes and ready-to-cook meals. We also manage a salad bar, handling refills, cleaning, etc. All for the best food inspiration and customer experience!

In your role with us, you will likely work both in the delicatessen counter and in production in the kitchen. Examples of tasks include:

• Greeting customers with top-class service
• Sales in the delicatessen counter
• Setting up the deli counter and contributing to keeping it inviting, fresh, and inspiring
• Producing and preparing food for the food bar, catering, and meal boxes, etc.
• Maintaining the salad bar with refills and cleaning
• Cleaning
• Maintaining our routines for safe food handling

Other tasks that may occur include picking goods, date control, and of course much more. Customer focus is central in all work moments, and we always start with the customer in mind.

As we are a developing store, it may also become relevant to have other tasks in other departments, which is why it is important that you are unpretentious and open to learning new things. ICA Kvantum Värtan is a quality-certified store according to the industry standard "Swedish Standard for Food Handling in Stores", which means we constantly work according to the regulations in place to guarantee customers safe food. This is an important part of the job.

To fit this role, we believe that you:

• have experience from delicatessen, production, kitchen, catering, or similar
• have a genuine interest in food and taste experiences
• have an eye for detail, quality, and hygiene
• read and speak Swedish
• and above all - have a desire to contribute to good atmosphere, positive development, and satisfied customers!

Experiences that are meritorious:

• experience working in a deli counter and/or kitchen/catering in an ICA store
• education in food safety or food hygiene
