The Medicines Area at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) consists of three hospital pharmacy units that support wards and clinics with pharmaceutical expertise. Approximately 100 employees work in the Medicines Area, including ward pharmacists, clinical pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, administrators, and chief pharmacists. Most are based at Sus in Lund and Malmö, but several colleagues are also located at the hospitals in Ystad, Trelleborg, and Landskrona.

We are now looking for a Pharmacy Assistant for the Hospital Pharmacy Unit in Malmö, who will work with fluid trolley service in our fluid stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities include all aspects of fluid trolley service as part of medication support. The role involves a primary placement in our fluid stores with tasks such as warehouse management, refilling fluid trolleys, ordering and receiving deliveries, and controlling and maintaining the medication store.

The role includes collaborating with the team to develop routines regarding work and efficiency improvements in fluid trolley service.

Your work involves extensive collaboration within your own group of pharmacists/pharmacy assistants, as well as with colleagues in the Medicines Area and with other healthcare professions at the hospital.

Your primary placement and tasks may change as the operations develop.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you if you have experience in warehouse work and would appreciate it if you had experience working with medications in some way, for example as a pharmacy assistant or through other experience that the employer deems equivalent. It is particularly meritorious if you have experience from hospital pharmacies and medication service/fluid trolley service to care units. We see it as an advantage if you have previously worked within healthcare. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

As a person, we see that you have a good manner and find it easy to collaborate with your surroundings. You are responsible and have the ability to independently organize and structure your work. You place great emphasis on precision in all work tasks. Improvement work is ongoing to increase medication safety, which requires curiosity and a flexible approach to work. It is an advantage if you have experience working with other professions and are stimulated by multidisciplinary working methods.

Large parts of the work are performed manually, so you need to enjoy physical work.
