About the position

Perioperative Medicine Solna covers all anesthesia, surgical, and pre-/post-operative care for adult patients, with the exception of thoracic patients. Our operations include anesthesia clinics, surgical care, as well as pre- and post-operative care before and after surgery.

Norra Haga is a day surgery department within Perioperative Medicine Solna. We launched in spring 2024 and have now been in full operation for just over two years. The unit has five operating rooms and receives patients from several specialties within Karolinska, which means a broad patient category and great variety in the work.

As an Anesthesia Nurse with us, you work in a team-based and flow-oriented manner, where collaboration, structure, and clear goals are central. The work is fast-paced with a focus on efficient flows, high patient safety, and a good working environment. The position also involves some duties in the post-operative ward.

We work purposefully with our operational goals where surgery start times, turnover times, room utilization, and quality parameters are central. Our working hours follow a fixed schedule with the benefit that you can choose to be off every third Friday.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with specialist education in anesthesia care.
• 2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Nurse.

• Several years of clinical experience as an Anesthesia Nurse.

The Function Perioperative Medicine and Intensive Care is the hospital's consolidated resource for anesthesia, surgery, pre- and post-operative care, as well as intensive care for adults.
