As an IT Technician within the school sector, you are responsible for a geographical area, while simultaneously being part of a larger group where everyone helps and supports each other when needed. The tasks are varied and include troubleshooting hardware and software, supporting equipment such as projectors and other digital classroom equipment, installing computers, assisting users with permissions and handling of various systems and programs. In addition, you will handle and support other hardware in the form of clients, printers, and mobile devices. The work also includes user support for features in Microsoft 365, for example.

You will work "onsite" at the users' locations, where you will have close dialogue with the school staff, where relationships and service are central parts of the job. Your workplace will be at the IT Department, and we operate from Havremagasinet in Hässleholm.

We work together and help each other while constantly striving to become even better. The tasks vary from day to day, as does the workload.

Who are you?

You have education at the university level or a vocational high school education with an IT focus, or alternatively several years of work experience in the field that the employer considers equivalent. It is an advantage if you have:

• education in AD, Exchange, Intune, SCCM, or other Microsoft services
• experience from a school environment or similar business-oriented IT support and IT delivery

For the job, you need to have a manual category B driver's license to be able to travel to our schools in the municipality.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing. You have a well-developed ability to document, are forward-thinking, and dare to take initiative. Your customer interaction is characterized by calmness - you are stress-resistant and can handle different types of challenges simultaneously. To thrive in the role, we believe that as a person, you see it as a given to provide the user with the best possible help and service. Furthermore, we see that you have a great interest in technology, learn quickly, are driven, and want to learn new things. You have the ability to work independently and under your own responsibility. At the same time, it is important that you have good teamwork skills, are service-oriented, and can build good relationships. Being a good communicator who can convey technical content in a clear and easy-to-understand manner, both in writing and verbally.

About us

The Municipal Executive Office leads, coordinates, and develops Hässleholm Municipality's operations and supports the Municipal Executive Board in strategic issues. The office works closely with the political leadership and is responsible for overarching issues within, among other things, urban planning, economy, HR, communication, and business development.

The IT Department is responsible for the operation and development of the municipality's internal IT environment, such as infrastructure, server environment, administration-specific business systems, telephony, internet, and email. We are also responsible for the municipality's e-service portal and for the development and implementation of e-services. Based on the digital strategy, we drive the digitalization work in the municipality.
