Job Description
SCANEX is in an exciting growth phase, and we are therefore looking for an additional team member on the service side. In this role, you will travel as part of your work, with regular trips involving overnight stays. You will work from home and have access to a company car and all the equipment required for the job. You will primarily work with our customers in Stockholm/Mälardalen, Central, and Northern Sweden, but also occasionally with customers elsewhere in the country.
As a Service Technician with us, you will work with maintenance and repair of our technical systems. You will carry out both planned service visits at customer sites and respond to urgent issues. You will work in close collaboration with our three experienced colleagues in the service department, as well as other colleagues in the sales team, administration, marketing, and customer service. The position reports to our Service Manager.
The service assignments vary in nature, which includes, among other things, placing orders, pre-programming, installing, and modifying our systems. You will also train and update customers regarding the equipment, as well as plan and carry out routine quality checks and ongoing maintenance. You are also responsible for documenting cases and ensuring that we meet set criteria according to industry standards regarding, among other things, safety and installation.
Qualifications
To be considered for the position, we see that you have a technical background and meet the following requirements.
· Education and/or work experience in technology, maintenance, and installation of technical equipment
· Class B driver's license
· General IT knowledge, such as the Office package
· Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Experience specifically within the medical technology field is considered an asset.
Who are you as a person?
To thrive in this role, you enjoy traveling for work and meeting customers. You have a accommodating manner that makes it easy for you to build relationships with those you meet. You see opportunities in customer contact and strive to deliver high service while placing great importance on the quality of the work you perform.
Furthermore, you take responsibility for your own work and make wise decisions when you are in charge on-site at the customer's location. In short – you are a relationship-oriented and solution-oriented team player with a strong technical interest.
We Offer
With us, you will work for the leading holistic supplier in the Nordics for medical technology equipment, with over 200 years of combined experience in the industry in Sweden. SCANEX is part of a group with operations in Denmark, Norway, and Finland. You will have access to our network of world-leading experts in the industry. Furthermore, you will receive a free company car that is replaced after 36 months in accordance with policy. All other general terms follow the applicable collective agreement.
Our technical systems are complex, and you will receive thorough training and introduction to the products, as well as support from colleagues and suppliers to gradually work independently at customer sites.
Application
Are you our next colleague? Welcome to apply to [email protected]. We encourage you to apply today, as we conduct a rolling selection.
