Perhaps you have heard of By Lyko, Acasia, Neccin, or Waterclouds? Some are produced in our own factory in Gothenburg, the rest comes from our external suppliers, and as a Supply Planner, you ensure there is always stock available for our customers, regardless of where it comes from. You will become a central link between several internal departments such as sales, purchasing, production, and warehouse, and will have direct contact with some of our 600+ external suppliers. The role is complex and involves all parts of the chain, meaning a changing and challenging environment where market circumstances quickly affect the workday.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensure that the right products are purchased in the right volume and priority based on demand, budget, and warehouse capacity – and that the flow of goods to the warehouse is balanced accordingly.
• Follow up, analyze, and report relevant KPIs and sales targets to ensure availability of the current assortment, supplier delivery performance, and an optimized inventory turnover rate.
• Conduct a proactive dialogue with our suppliers and production units regarding purchase forecasts, order flow, production planning, and delivery security to create control over the entire supply chain.
• Proactively identify and manage risks in the delivery flow to secure delivery security throughout the chain.
• Ensure efficient supply chain management towards our warehouse to balance purchase volumes against the warehouse's capacity.
• Continuously improve working methods, processes, and system support to become more data-driven, efficient, and accurate.

About the team and other important informationThe role is a permanent position starting as agreed, where you will be based either at our headquarters in Stockholm or at our office in Vansbro, and you will report to our Team Manager Supply Planning, Ulrika Haraldsson, based in Stockholm 🤩. You will be part of a team located in both Stockholm and Vansbro. The position will involve some travel to Vansbro or Stockholm depending on where you are based.

Who are you? 🎯To succeed in this role, we believe you have strong commercial drive and a good market understanding. You are skilled at turning insights into opportunities, switching between strategic and operational tasks, and making independent decisions based on data, with an understanding of the business consequences. You are driven by keeping the flow balanced, actively chasing down out-of-stocks, excess inventory, and unnecessary capital tie-up, and ensuring that the products customers want are actually there. Your ability to navigate between different people and contact points is crucial, as is your habit of gathering the information required to drive your projects forward.

We are looking for someone who is confident in setting requirements and challenging when necessary, and who can handle different stakeholders efficiently by asking the right questions. Furthermore, we would like you to be excellent at communicating, prioritizing, and adapting to the fact that no day is like the other.

Background and competencies we are looking for:

• Several years of experience working specialized with supply planning and operational purchasing
• Structured and meticulous with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with many different contact points both internally and externally.
• Self-motivated and initiative-taking, you see what needs to be done and drive it to completion without waiting for the green light.
• Analytical and communicative, you build trust and get things done in dialogue with both internal and external stakeholders.
• You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
• Good Excel skills – and if you have worked with Power BI, it is a plus.
