About the workplace

The Care Administration in Solna Municipality is responsible for, among other things, health and medical care in housing with special support and day activities according to the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The operations are run by Solna Municipality itself. We are a team consisting of nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists working with preventive, maintaining, and rehabilitative measures.

What does the job entail?

You will be part of a team together with an occupational therapist and nurses. Together, you will plan and carry out the work with the best interests of the operations and patients always in focus.

We offer you exciting work that includes:

• Rehabilitative interventions as well as advice and support for staff in LSS housing.
• Opportunities to develop preventive activities for the target group, for example in the form of group training or similar.
• Fall preventive measures and fitting of assistive devices.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist and have an interest in the field of operations. You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Previous experience working within the disability sector is considered an advantage. We would prefer that you hold a valid driver's license (Category B).

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have an easy time building good relationships. You have a holistic view and a good ability to analyze and reflect from different perspectives. You are receptive and have a supportive approach. In this role, it is important that you are self-reliant and appreciate taking responsibility for your working hours. As a physiotherapist, you contribute your knowledge and experience to develop the operations, and you thrive working in a team around the patient. You have a strong understanding of how people learn and can adapt your message to reach each individual in the best possible way.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

The position is a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays without holidays during daytime. There is an opportunity to work part-time if desired.
