About the operations:

Vallentuna Municipality operates two special housing facilities for the elderly in its own name: Väsbygården and Korallen. Both are located centrally in Vallentuna. The operations have departments focusing on somatic care, dementia, and short-term placements.

In our operations, several different professions collaborate towards the same operational goals in close teamwork, with a focus on quality development.

Responsibilities:

We are now looking for a caretaker who will work broadly at Väsbygården and Korallen. The role of caretaker involves a large variation of areas and tasks, where you take initiative and organize your day yourself based on priority.

As a caretaker, your main responsibilities are to ensure that the indoor and outdoor environments in the operations are functional, pleasant, and safe for residents and staff. You do this, among other things, by daily handling of incoming fault reports, minor repairs, and maintenance. You ensure the operations' waste management and keep track of issues related to our properties and outdoor environments. You have a close, ongoing collaboration with staff within the operations but also with Vallentuna Municipality's property department and external suppliers.

Qualifications:

• You have experience working with similar tasks.
• Upper secondary education in construction, property maintenance, or property technology, or other education/experience that can be deemed suitable for the assignment.
• Good IT skills.
• Category B driver's license.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

The position is a permanent employment at 75% starting September 1st or as agreed. We apply individual salary setting.
