BRS Networks is an established company within fiber optics and IT, with around 75 employees and headquarters in Visby. We also have offices in Kalmar, Norrtälje, Åkersberga, and Uppsala, and continue to grow in line with strong demand for our services.

We are currently looking for a fiber technician based in Åkersberga and Norrtälje. The main workplace for the position may vary between offices depending on business needs and current workload.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with fiber splicing, installation, and backbone network expansion.
• Enjoys working independently, is structured and flexible, and has a natural ability to collaborate with both colleagues and project management.
• Takes responsibility for your work, maintains high quality in delivery, and contributes to the team's common goals.

We prefer that you have a few years of experience in similar tasks and a solution-oriented attitude where you see opportunities rather than obstacles. You are a team player with good collaboration skills and have a high school diploma. If you have education from a relevant vocational school, we consider it a merit. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

Experience with fiber installation, splicing, and fiber blowing is required. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In the role, you will have close contact with the company's project managers and supervisors, and you are expected to document and follow up on your work in a meticulous manner.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
