We are looking for engaged and flexible nurses who want to work as hourly substitutes at one or more of our elderly care facilities in Norrtälje Municipality. You can work days, evenings, or nights. Single shifts or more continuous substitute periods. You have the opportunity to contribute with good care and support at our facilities in Norrtälje, Hallstavik, Rimbo, and Blidö. About the position

You will work when our regular nurses are on vacation, sick, or otherwise absent. You are the hub of the network and responsible for ensuring that prescribed care measures are carried out. A driver's license is required, as we sometimes need to travel between our facilities.

Our residents are often multi-morbid, which requires you to have comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions, as well as an interest in the aging person. We work in teams based on the residents' needs.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Rounds and contact with physicians.
• Medication management.
• Medical assessments.
• Mentoring care staff.

About you

For this position, you need:

• To be a licensed nurse.
• A Category B driver's license for manual cars and good driving experience.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Experience from elderly care.
• Specialized training in elderly care and/or palliative care.

You thrive working with our residents, who are often multi-morbid, as you have an interest in the aging person while possessing comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation, which allows you to handle this important part of the work with confidence. You have good collaboration skills, which you will benefit from greatly when working in teams based on the residents' needs. As a nurse, you are responsible for nursing care, which suits you as you are clear in your communication and have good structure.

We have several elderly care facilities we are very proud of, and which you now have the opportunity to become a part of. We have Blidösundsgården on Blidö. In Hallstavik, there are August Jansgården and Kristinagården, in Älmsta there is Elmstagården. Furthermore, Eneberg and Ängsgården are located in Norrtälje, and in Rimbo, we have Begshyddan and Birgittagården. The elderly care facilities vary in size, from 14 to 70 apartments. What all our facilities have in common is that they are run with engagement and warmth, with the goal of creating places we would have wanted to live in ourselves.
