About the position

You will be part of a team with dedicated colleagues and skilled managers. Here you work primarily with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. The facility has 42 apartments, and you and your colleague share the care responsibility for the people living there.

The most common systems we use are Take Care, Pascal, Lifecare, and Ace To Go.

Work shifts are currently scheduled during daytime with weekend duty every sixth weekend.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Performing medical assessments.
• Accompanying doctors on rounds.
• Medication management.
• Mentoring staff on various care issues.
• Delegating tasks to care personnel.
• Working in a team-based manner with other professions.

About you

For this position you need:

• Be a licensed nurse.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Have a driver's license and driving experience.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Experience in elderly care.
• Further education within elderly care.
• Ability to speak Finnish.

You want to be involved in developing care quality and improving patient safety at our special housing facilities. Caring for our elderly and working within elderly care is important and meaningful to you. You enjoy working independently, making assessments, and taking your own decisions, but also working in an interdisciplinary team. You like having varied tasks and have a flexible approach.

Kristinagården is located in Hallstavik and has 46 apartments, of which 5 are for short-term housing. Our goal is to create a housing environment that we ourselves would choose to live in. We are delighted that many of our residents stay with us for a long time, which gives us many memorable meetings with our elderly and their relatives. Some residents speak Finnish fully/partially. Therefore, Finnish skills are meritorious. Here you will join a work group with experienced and skilled nurses who collaborate closely with the care personnel.
