About the role

We are looking for an independent CNC Operator/Programmer who will have the opportunity to handle the entire process from programming to finished part. Since you will be working with job shop production and occasionally small series, the role involves varied work with frequent changeovers. As a CNC operator, you are responsible for programming in MasterCAM, setting up machines, and executing production.

You will be working with:

  • Programming and optimization of CNC programs in MasterCAM.
  • Setup and adjustment of CNC machines.
  • Milling, with some turning possibly involved.
  • Quality control using measuring tools.
  • Planning and preparation of upcoming jobs during production.
  • Occasional assembly work if needed.

Abes offers a workplace where you have the opportunity to develop, both through internal knowledge sharing and further training in programming and metrology.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for a technically interested and independent colleague with a natural understanding of how machines function. Does your heart beat for mechanics, cars, or motorcycles? We see this as a big plus, as it often provides that right "machine feel." Beyond mechanical skills, we also highly value skills in robotics and automation.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Solution-oriented: A responsible problem solver who sees opportunities instead of obstacles.
  • Quality-conscious: Meticulous in everything you do and driven to deliver with the highest precision.
  • A team player: Thrives in an open environment where collaboration, responsibility, joy, and development are central.

The requirements for the position are:

  • Experience programming in MasterCAM, or similar CAD/CAM systems.
  • Experience working with Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls.
  • Good understanding of technical drawings and metrology.

In addition, you must have at least one of the following backgrounds to be considered:

  • Worked as a CNC operator where you programmed machines and produced parts "from A to Z".
  • Worked as a technician/service technician/maintenance technician and supplemented this with CNC training.

Other information

  • Start: Immediately
  • Location: Trehögsgatan 6, 213 76 Malmö
  • Employment: Full-time
  • Working hours: Daytime and/or 2-shift system.
  • Salary: According to GFL (Swedish Metalworkers' Union agreement)

A background check will be conducted for candidates who proceed in the process.

If you have questions about the position, please email [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])

We recommend applying immediately as we conduct ongoing selections.

We look forward to receiving your application!
