Are you a skilled lathe operator or milling machinist? We need you at our Central Workshop.

You will belong to the Central Maintenance section, which is part of the Maintenance Department and serves the entire mill. The Maintenance Department's mission is to ensure the highest possible availability of the mill's production equipment. We are constantly working to improve personnel and operational safety, as well as increasing quality and cost-effectiveness in maintenance work.

As a machinist, you will become part of the team at the mill's Central Workshop. Here, we work with manual machining in a fleet of machines where craftsmanship and mechanical knowledge are key attributes.

The work includes, among other things:

  • Manufacturing of mechanical components using manual lathes and milling machines, e.g., shafts, bushings, etc.
  • Repair of damaged bearing housings
  • Machining of transmission couplings
  • Various mechanical repair and manufacturing tasks related to the mill's production equipment

This is a day shift position.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Technical upper secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Practical experience in manual machining using lathes and milling machines
  • Good skills in reading technical drawings
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to communicate, document, and report both orally and in writing

Experience working in a drill rig is an advantage.
