Become a key player in production! We are looking for a solution-oriented maintenance mechanic in Storfors – day shift, strong team spirit, and varied work.

We are now seeking a maintenance mechanic for our operations in Storfors.

In this role, you will work with both preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance, contributing quickly and efficiently to keeping production running. You will also be involved in developing and improving our maintenance work at the unit.

The work involves daily supervision of equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. You are also responsible for documenting completed actions. An important part of the role is to ensure that spare parts and materials are available, used correctly, and ordered when needed.

Here you become part of a family-like work environment with helpful colleagues and good cohesion, reporting to the Operations Manager in Storfors. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you work day shifts, while production operates on shifts.

PERSONAL QUALITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in similar work, preferably from workshop or process industry, or from other technical operations where you have worked practically with mechanics and troubleshooting.

You have an interest in technology and thrive in solving problems in a production-oriented environment. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and are accustomed to documenting your work. You also have experience with material handling and placing orders.

As a person, you are team-oriented and have an unpretentious, solution-focused approach to work. You enjoy working with others and are driven by improving and developing methods based on realistic conditions.

Advantageous qualifications include crane operator license, forklift license, & fall protection training, as well as Hot Work certification.

A B-driver's license is required, as the work may involve assignments at our two production sites, including work in Degerfors.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The position of Maintenance Mechanic is a direct hire where you will be employed by Degerfors Long Products. In this recruitment, we collaborate with Eterni Sweden, and any questions should be directed to Eterni Sweden. Working hours are during the day. On-call duties may occur in the future.
