Are you a nurse interested in eating disorder care?

Do you want to work with the whole family in focus? Then this might be the job for you!

The Stockholm Centre for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the world's largest specialist clinics for patients with eating disorders, treating patients of all ages. We have a well-developed operation with outpatient care, day care, and inpatient care for adults, children, and adolescents. Today, we have over 300 employees. We have recently opened another outpatient clinic for children and young people with eating disorders on Södermalm in Stockholm.

The expanded mandate received by SCÄ means that the child and adolescent section is growing, and the Outpatient Care for Children and Young People unit needs to expand its staff. We are now looking forward to welcoming another colleague to our team.

Outpatient Clinic for Children and Young People provides specialized eating disorder care for patients under 18 years of age. This spring, we launched an additional outpatient unit for children and young people, meaning we are now two units with the same mission and treatment offerings. We work closely together and have a tight collaboration where we help and support each other when needed.

Here, we employ nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, counselors, dietitians, physiotherapists, and doctors. Our primary treatment method is Family-Based Therapy (FBT). In 2026, we will broaden our treatment offerings and have regular supervision.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for you who want stimulating work and to develop both the operation and yourself. Your tasks will include performing somatic checks, medication follow-ups, and supporting families in their treatment. Leveraging and strengthening the resources of the family and network is one of the cornerstones of our work. We work both in teams and individually. You will participate in treatment conferences, supervision, and method development together with the rest of the team. The role includes monitoring the clinic's quality work.

You are responsible, secure, and structured, and have the knowledge to make your own assessments and decisions to drive care forward. You are confident in meeting people in difficult life situations and meeting whole families.
