In the role of Steam Turbine Supervisor, you are responsible for leading and coordinating mechanical maintenance on steam turbines, valves, and associated auxiliary systems. You work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, with high quality, and in accordance with established instructions.

You are a key person on site – present in the daily operations, supportive of the technicians, and with a clear focus on safety, quality, and collaboration.

• Plan and prepare maintenance activities, including site logistics, transport, and control of Vattenfall-specific equipment
• Work in shifts in accordance with applicable working hours and rest regulations
• Perform and lead mechanical work such as disassembly, inspection, repair, replacement, and reassembly according to Siemens Energy’s work instructions
• Identify and report mechanical deviations to site management
• Responsible for mechanical subsystems on turbines and lead technicians on site
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality assurance, and correct documentation
• Manage work permits and hot work permits, and report status to the shift leader

What You Bring

• Extensive experience and knowledge in mechanics for pressurized rotating machinery
• Valid authorizations and certificates according to regulations or Vattenfall requirements (e.g., lifting/signaling, scaffolding, forklift, blade work, welding)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and good spoken English skills
• Experience in leading teams and working with technical documentation on site
• Ability and willingness to travel to Vattenfall’s nuclear power plants in Sweden

You will become part of a dedicated field service team responsible for high-class mechanical maintenance at Vattenfall’s nuclear power plants. The team collaborates closely with Field Service Managers, site managers, and technical experts to ensure smooth planning and execution of outage and maintenance stops.

In your daily work, you will interact with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors – all with a common focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence. Together, you contribute to ensuring reliable and efficient energy production in Sweden.
