Car sheet metal work at Werksta Veddesta – Professional and efficient work

As a car sheet metal worker at Werksta Veddesta, you are responsible for repairing and restoring bodies and sheet metal parts on passenger and transport vehicles according to the manufacturer's and workshop's requirements. You work in modern facilities with good access to tools and in close collaboration with painters, damage surveyors, and service advisors to ensure a smooth and quality-assured flow.

Job Responsibilities – Sheet metal work, reconditioning, and documentation
  • Perform sheet metal repairs: hammering, dolly work, welding, riveting, and sheet metal reconstructions

  • Shape, adapt, and install sheet metal parts, as well as work with newly manufactured panels

  • Collaborate with the paint shop and damage surveying for assessment, planning, and work orders

  • Conduct quality control of completed work and ensure that repaired vehicles meet safety and aesthetic requirements

  • Document work in the workshop system and follow up on schedules

  • Contribute to a safe working environment by following routines and keeping the workshop tidy

Requirements & Desired Qualifications
  • Education in vehicle technology/sheet metal work or equivalent work experience

  • Documented experience in sheet metal work on passenger or transport vehicles, including welding and assembly

  • Knowledge of modern repair methods, materials, and the workshop's safety requirements

  • Meticulous, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented

  • Ability to collaborate in a team and work independently

  • Category B driver's license is advantageous or required depending on the scope of the position

  • Swedish language skills in speech and writing are required

Employment Type & Application

The position is a permanent full-time role with a 6-month probation period. Start date according to agreement.
