The healthcare centre is located a few minutes' walk from Barkarby commuter station. It takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Stockholm Central Station. Barkarby is a rapidly growing area, and with its perfect geographical location and appealing demographic base, we would like to offer you the opportunity to help develop primary care in this part of Stockholm. We currently have approximately 8,000 registered patients.

We are a medium-sized healthcare centre with close collaboration and dialogue across professional boundaries. We have short decision-making paths and a high degree of participation among our staff.

Job Description:

All typical duties for a nursing assistant at the laboratory, and as needed, in the reception, clinic, and home care.

You work independently but also collaboratively with your colleagues in the team.

Employment Type:

Permanent position. Full-time (100%). Working hours Monday–Friday. Probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.

Qualifications:

You must be a certified nursing assistant with proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare and eligible to work in Swedish healthcare. You have a few years of professional experience and are confident in your skills. Experience from primary care and home care is highly meritorious. Valid B driver's license.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council's Healthcare Services:

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
