The role involves working at all Saab sites in the region, providing a varied daily routine and broad technical exposure. About the role

As a Ventilation Technician at Caverion, you work with the operation, service, and maintenance of ventilation systems in Saab's business-critical buildings. The assignment is long-term and characterized by stability, structure, and a high focus on safety. You work across all Saab sites in the region, with Kallebäck as the main base, and become an important part of an established team where ventilation, operations, and electricity work closely together in daily delivery.

Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that the ventilation systems function optimally in both industrial and office environments at Saab's various facilities. Your main tasks include:

• Service, inspection, and preventive maintenance of ventilation systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Filter changes and simpler mechanical work, such as replacing fan motors and bearings
• Documentation of completed work, fault reports, and work orders in digital systems
• Collaboration with the client as well as internal colleagues within operations, electricity, and site management
• Work according to current safety routines in security-classified environments

The work takes place on-site at Saab and covers all sites in the Gothenburg area, with no requirement for overnight stays.

Your profile

For the role of Ventilation Technician, we are looking for you who have experience in ventilation service and thrive with an independent and responsible work approach. You have a technical foundation and enjoy working practically in complex environments where quality, safety, and documentation are important.

We would like you to have:

• Technical education at the upper secondary level or equivalent practical experience
• Several years of experience working in ventilation, building technology, or a related field
• Practical experience in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ventilation systems
• Good familiarity with working systematically in digital case and reporting systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits include experience from industrial or security-classified facilities, control and regulation technology, as well as participation in smaller projects or improvement work.

As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and confident in your technical competence. You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and appreciate the variety that comes from working across multiple facilities.
