Here you will have the opportunity to be an important part of the daily life for our residents at Serafens Care and Residential Home.

At Serafens Care and Residential Home, you will work together with approximately 200 colleagues to support the approximately 176 people living in apartments distributed across seven floors.

We are now looking for you who are a versatile handyman/maintainer with a sense for service. As a maintainer with us, you have an important role in ensuring the entire operation runs smoothly. You are the person who ensures that the environment is safe, secure, and welcoming for both residents, relatives, and employees.

This is a six-month temporary position, with a possible extension. Working hours are 07:00-16:00.

Your role

In your role as a maintainer, it includes leading the service team of four employees. In addition, your assignment includes:

• Continuously maintaining the building (the building owner is responsible for their part).
• Ensuring that the building's fire protection, safety, and occupational health and safety requirements comply with current laws and regulations and maintaining dialogue with relevant authorities and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring the operation of the residence's IT and telecommunications environment.
• Ensuring the operation of the residence's key and alarm systems.
• Responsible for purchasing some of the residence's consumable and office supplies.
• Contact person for the residence's property manager.
• Laundry management and local cleaning. Heavy lifting occurs.

Part of the role is to be a role model for others in following the residence's guidelines regarding dress code and behavior towards residents, relatives, and employees.

Your competence and experience

In this recruitment, we are looking for you who have:

• Previous professional experience as a maintainer, building host, or property caretaker within care and social services with administrative elements.
• Good knowledge of local cleaning and property maintenance.
• IT skills and interest in technology.
• Ability to handle the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• Education considered suitable by the employer.
