We are now expanding and need to strengthen our team with a third dietitian for a permanent position at Spånga Rehab.

We offer a workplace with competent, positive, and driven colleagues who together create the conditions for improving our patients' quality of life. Our work is characterized by enthusiasm and great commitment! At Spånga Rehab, in addition to dietitians, we also have occupational therapists, physiotherapists/chiropractors, speech therapists, counselors, and receptionists. We are a nicely sized group of 23 people.

Rehab Västra is an independent profit center within the Stockholm County Council (Stockholms läns sjukvårdsområde) with the mandate to provide primary care rehabilitation (basic mandate) as well as an additional mandate for the neuro team in outpatient care (Spånga Rehab). Our clinics are located in Kista, Bromma, Ekerö, and Spånga, and together we are approximately 70 employees, of whom 7 are dietitians. Job Responsibilities

The dietitian in Primary Care Rehab meets patients of all ages, and you will work with patients who have lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, overweight, as well as gastrointestinal diseases, malnutrition, or allergies/intolerances. The work involves assessment, treatment, and counseling at the clinic, during home visits, and/or remotely. You prescribe and order nutritional products and special food products.

The work requires good teamwork skills as you will sometimes work in teams with other professional categories at the clinic and collaborate with relatives, home care services, and other healthcare providers regarding your patients. The work also includes group therapy for different diagnostic groups and supervision of students.

There is an opportunity to work partially remotely, when the operations allow.

Employment Type

The position is a permanent employment. The scope is full-time 100% 40 hours/week, but part-time may possibly be discussed. Probationary employment may apply. Start date according to agreement.

Qualifications

  • Licensed dietitian, preferably with previous experience in primary care, which is meritorious
  • A valid driver's license (Category B) is a requirement

Other Information:

When working in the patient's home, you must be able to cope with environments with pets/fur-bearing animals and not be sensitive to smoke odor.

For patient-proximity work within Stockholm County Council:

- Register control is applied before a decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register control upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through the occupational health service before employment.

- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
