We are looking for a new star for the reception at Hotel Skansen. Here, you will become an important part of the guest experience and meet people from near and far — whether they are visiting us for relaxation, conferences, spa, or a weekend on the Bjäre Peninsula.

About Us
Hotel Skansen is a vibrant meeting place, with the sea as a neighbor and the classic center court just outside the door.
In total, there are 172 rooms and 346 beds, as well as 26 conference rooms.
In the main building, you will find hotel rooms, conference facilities, Restaurant Sand, and a wonderful spa facility with a modern gym. The spa section includes a Roof Top SPA, treatment rooms, a Japanese pool, a clover-shaped pool, and a relaxation area. A bit out in the sea lies our much-loved saltwater pool, where you can take a dip in the sea year-round.
The hotel is part of the GRAM Group, along with Hotel Riviera Strand, Torekov Hotell, and the restaurants Pepe’s Bodega, Papas, Mamas Italian, and PAVO. Together, we create experiences at one of Sweden's most attractive destinations.
About the Role
As a receptionist, you are one of the hotel's most important ambassadors and a central part of the guest's overall experience — from the first hello to the last impression.
You work both operationally and relationally, where service, hospitality, and problem-solving are a natural part of everyday life. The role involves varied working hours during the day, evening, weekdays, and weekends. The position is 80%.
Responsibilities
- Check-in and check-out
- Greeting and assisting guests before, during, and after their stay
- Booking management via phone and email
- Ensuring that the reception and lobby maintain high standards
- Collaborating with other departments for a seamless guest experience
- Administrative tasks related to reception and booking

We want you to have
- Experience from hotels, reception, service, or the tourism industry
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good computer skills, preferably experience with Hotsoft and BookVisit
- Experience in upselling or service sales
- Interest in hospitality, destinations, and experiences
