Do you want to work in a company where your work makes a real difference to production – every day? We are now looking for two mechanics for Södra Cell Mörrum, with different specializations:

• Mechanic focused on preventive maintenance (fiber side)
• Mechanic focused on welding and piping maintenance

Here, you will have an important role in ensuring stable and efficient production in an advanced process industry environment.

Depending on which specialization you apply for, your tasks will vary slightly – but what they have in common is a strong focus on operational reliability, quality, and collaboration.

You work to stay ahead and ensure high availability in the plant through planned maintenance.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Working with planned and condition-based maintenance as well as rounds/inspections
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical faults as needed
• Contributing to reducing disruptions and unplanned stops
• Initiating and driving improvements in maintenance and working methods
• Documenting and following up on work in our systems

You work with qualified welding work and the development of our process piping systems.

Your tasks consist mainly of:

• Welding in the plant, focusing on stainless steel materials
• Pipe prefabrication and assembly
• Repairs and modifications in process pipes
• Participation in planned maintenance and improvement work

Regardless of specialization, you work closely with operations, maintenance colleagues, and contractors – and are a key part of moving our work forward.

• Have mechanical education or equivalent experience
• Have experience in mechanical maintenance in industry
• Understand preventive and condition-based maintenance
• Are accustomed to analyzing causes of failure and working long-term

• Have experience in industrial welding
• Have experience with piping systems and pipe prefabrication
• Have knowledge of welding methods (e.g., TIG/MMA)
• Are accustomed to working with stainless steel materials
