Do you want to work in a technical and operations-oriented role where you contribute to high operational reliability and continuous improvements in production? We are now looking for an engaged and self-reliant maintenance technician specializing in mechanics and electricity to join our team in Karlskrona.
About the role
As a maintenance technician, you are responsible for ensuring high technical availability of our production equipment in the laundry. The role is broad and varied, encompassing both operational maintenance and improvement work. You work both independently and in close collaboration with other maintenance technicians and production staff. The work is conducted systematically with the support of our maintenance system, MaintMaster, and has a clear focus on preventive maintenance, operational reliability, and quality.
Responsibilities
In the role of maintenance technician, you will among other things work with:
- Troubleshooting, repair, and restoration of production equipment within both mechanics and electricity
- Execution of planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance according to the maintenance plan
- Inspection and condition checks of machines to identify defects early and reduce the risk of downtime
- Active participation in improvement and optimization work for increased operational reliability and efficiency
- Collaboration with production to minimize production disruptions and ensure a good working environment
- Documentation of performed work in the maintenance system
- Other routine tasks within the maintenance department
Qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Technical education in electricity, automation, or equivalent
- Several years of experience in maintenance work in industrial operations
- Good knowledge in both mechanics and electricity
- Experience working with maintenance systems (experience with MaintMaster is a plus)
- Experience from the food industry or other manufacturing operations is a plus
You have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Knowledge of English is a plus, and German is seen as an extra advantage, as several of our machine suppliers are located abroad.
