About the Role
NG Nordic is a Nordic group company offering services in environmental care and material efficiency. Their goal is to conserve natural resources and promote a circular economy. They improve material and energy efficiency for their customers by providing solutions for reuse, recycling, and final disposal, as well as services for soil remediation and environmental construction. NG Nordic operates in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway, and is now seeking a Test Leader/Test Operator for the Research and Development department, focusing on water purification.

Responsibilities
The role involves driving sub-projects within water purification, performing practical pilot and laboratory work, and documenting and analyzing data to develop new technologies for purifying micro-pollutants.
- Daily operational control and measurements in water purification pilots.
- Sampling and simpler chemical analyses in on-site laboratories.
- Data documentation, logbook keeping, and deviation reporting.
- Maintenance and improvement work on equipment.
- Data processing and analysis in Excel.
- Driving own sub-projects from start to finish.
- Collaboration with colleagues and clients.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A chemical or technical background, either through work experience or education.
- A clear interest in technology and natural sciences.
- Advanced English skills, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel).
- Class B driver's license, as some travel is required for the role.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Operational experience with biological or physico-chemical water purification.
- Background in the chemical industry or chemical process technology.
- Experience as an operator in fields such as water purification or the paper industry.
- Good knowledge of Swedish.
- Education in environmental science or chemical engineering.
- Experience in laboratory work, data analysis, and chemical analysis.

Other Information:
Start Date: Autumn 2026, subject to agreement.
Working Hours: Weekdays during daytime hours, though some project phases may involve longer working days and evening work.
Flexibility: Travel in the local area to collect materials and spare parts occurs occasionally. Work is usually planned well in advance, but urgent operational disruptions may require quick interventions. Flexibility and short notice periods are advantageous. The role involves both collaboration with colleagues and independent work, as well as the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
