Are you a licensed biomedical analyst looking for a varied and developmental role? Then the Emergency Laboratory at Lindesberg Hospital might be the right workplace for you! We operate within clinical chemistry, serology, sample collection, and a bone bank. At our facility, all staff rotate between different tasks based on their qualifications, providing great variety and the opportunity to develop broad competencies. We are currently 12 dedicated employees who together create a pleasant workplace where collaboration, development, and quality are in focus. We are now looking for a licensed biomedical analyst with experience in one or more of the areas: clinical chemistry, serology, and sample collection.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a biomedical analyst here, you work independently with laboratory tasks, such as assessing and technically approving analyses within clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, coagulation, point-of-care testing, and blood group serology. The role also includes the dispensing of blood components and bone tissue. The laboratory also has a sample collection clinic where we perform venous and capillary sampling. We are looking for someone who works in a structured manner, has good prioritization skills, and thrives working both independently and as part of a team. You are quality-conscious and wish to contribute to the continued development of our operations.
QualificationsRequirements: Licensed biomedical analyst. Previous experience working within clinical chemistry, serology, and/or sample collection is advantageous.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You have a good attitude towards patients, colleagues, and customers, are service-oriented, responsible, and have good collaboration skills.

About the OperationsThe Operations Area Laboratory Medicine in Region Örebro County is coordinated within one clinic, meaning the laboratories at the hospitals in Örebro (USÖ), Karlskoga, and Lindesberg belong to this clinic. We who work here are very proud of our hospitals and build our work on professionalism, engagement, and team spirit. We run a broad operation within the areas of clinical chemistry, bacteriology, virology, immunology, transfusion medicine including therapeutic plasma exchange, pathology, cytology, and molecular genetics. The clinic also houses operations for instrument sterilization. Here, more than 300 people work with routine diagnostics, research and development, as well as education.
