Do you want to follow your own service projects all the way from planning to a commissioned facility? At Firesafe, you will both lead and be hands-on. We are now looking for a Service Project Manager / Commissioning Technician.

About the role

You combine project management with your own technical responsibility. The focus is on the aftermarket for our extinguishing systems (SBF 500) and fire alarm systems (SBF 110); replacements, upgrades, conversions, and other measures on existing facilities.

As a Service Project Manager, you will:

• Plan, lead, and follow up on service projects from order to completion.
• Ensure that projects adhere to schedule, quality, and budget.
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and materials.
• Act as the customer's main point of contact throughout the assignment.
• Create and manage necessary documentation.
• Work in our IT systems for planning, follow-up, and reporting.
• Identify upselling opportunities and improvement proposals together with sales and the service manager.

As a Commissioning Technician within your projects, you will:

• Commission fire alarm systems and extinguishing systems.
• Perform functional tests and ensure compliance with requirements according to SBF 110, SBF 115, and SBF 500.
• Troubleshoot, rectify, and upgrade systems.
• Write clear protocols and service reports for actions and invoicing.
• Conduct customer and facility training when included in the assignment.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with technical projects, preferably within fire alarms, extinguishing systems, electrical work, security, or similar.
• Thrives in a combined role where you both lead and work practically on-site with customers.
• Is structured, communicative, and takes personal responsibility.
• Is good at planning, prioritizing, and solving problems in everyday work.
• Has good IT skills and is comfortable working in various systems.
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently and handles basic English.

Merits:

• Experience with extinguishing systems and/or fire alarms.
• Background as a service technician, commissioning technician, foreman, or project manager within technology/installation.
• Experienced user of the business system Dynamics 365 and/or the service system Mobigo.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) without remarks.
