Department 16 is a general psychiatric inpatient unit belonging to the Psychiatry Northwest clinic. The department's main focus is on depression, anxiety, and personality disorders, but we also treat patients with other psychiatric and social issues. Comorbidity is common. We have 16 care beds, one of which is designated for voluntary admission. We admit patients over the age of 18. The department is centrally located on Kungsholmen with good access to public transportation.

Respons:

Standard responsibilities for a licensed nurse in psychiatric inpatient care. On the department, we work in nursing teams consisting of nurses and nursing assistants, where you as a nurse are the team leader. You have overall responsibility for psychiatric and somatic nursing care and are expected to be able to prioritize and delegate tasks. You are ultimately responsible for medication management and nursing documentation. We use Take Care as our electronic health record system.

Employment Type:

Hourly employment for day, evening, and/or night shifts according to your preferences and the unit's needs. If you are interested in working more shifts than we can offer, or are curious about working on other departments within Psychiatry Northwest, there is an opportunity to work at our neighboring department (Department 18) as well as the clinic's other psychiatric departments at Danderyd Hospital.

Qualifications:

You have a Swedish nursing license and a genuine interest in psychiatry. As a person, you are positive, solution-focused, unpretentious, and collaborative. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. We prefer that you have experience working in psychiatric care. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.

• A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
• In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
