Rydma is a small company currently in an expansion phase. We perform most jobs related to fiber optics & data throughout Central Sweden.

As a Fiber Technician, you will work in a varied environment, both indoors and outdoors, for both businesses and private individuals. Work in other locations may also occur. You will plan your work in the field. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Installation, splicing, and termination of optical fiber and data cabling
• Fault assistance and troubleshooting
• Blowing of optical fiber cables
• Responsibility for documentation

Qualifications for the role

• Previous experience with fiber work or similar
• Completed upper secondary education, preferably with a technical focus
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious qualifications (not mandatory)

• Previous experience with blowing optical fiber cables
• Previous experience working with measurement/troubleshooting instruments
• Certification within fiber optics

As a person, you are driven and solution-oriented. You enjoy taking initiative and are not afraid to drive your own work forward. You are flexible in your approach, and since you will be working with both businesses and private individuals, it is important that you enjoy customer contact.

Other details about the position

The position is full-time and permanent. Start date is by agreement, and the location is Örebro.
