In this role, you will play a key part in caring for patients' foot and diabetes-related health. You will be offered a varied and independent position with close collaboration between professionals and clinics. You will meet patients with diverse needs and become an integral part of creating safe and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified medical podiatrist and nursing assistant. Experience in the industry is a big plus. Most importantly, you are empathetic, meticulous, patient, and provide excellent customer service. You will work with medical foot care and meet patients with various needs, focusing on quality, safety, and service. You will care for patients at the health centers and, in some cases, make home visits to our most elderly and frail patients.

Qualifications

• Education as a nursing assistant; and
• Completed basic and advanced courses in foot care therapy for diabetes care at APC (Academic Primary Care Centre, diabetes) or equivalent training; and
• Education as a podiatrist/foot care specialist (minimum 20 weeks of education)

or

• A one-year post-secondary education as a podiatrist/foot care specialist or equivalent;

or

• Education in podiatry with 180 higher education credits, including completed basic and advanced courses in foot care therapy for diabetes care at APC (Academic Primary Care Centre, diabetes) or equivalent training.

Personal qualities

It is important that you are a positive, flexible, and solution-oriented person. You enjoy collaborating but can also work independently. A B-class driver's license is an advantage, although we also provide bicycles.

Other information

Employment level 80–100%. Working hours are weekdays 08:00–17:00. The recruitment process is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
