About the role

As a nursing assistant or care aide, you work in a team to provide good, person-centered care. We work with an individualized approach based on the residents' perspectives. We strive for our employees to feel involved, proud, and responsible for the operations we conduct.

The position is a summer temporary assignment from June to August, with the possibility of extension (please state your preferences in your application). Weekend shifts are included. We are looking for both:

• Part-time 83–90%
• Hourly employment

Please state your preferences in your application. Onboarding may take place continuously during the spring. All summer temporary staff participate in an onboarding day in week 24.

Are you our new colleague?

We are looking for you who perhaps studies and seeks work during the summer break. It is meritorious if you are trained as a nursing assistant according to the Riksdag's decision on the protected professional title for nursing assistants and have a few years of experience working in eldercare. We verify your certificate of the protected title against the HOSP registry.

If you lack formal education, experience is meritorious, but we primarily base our selection on personal suitability.

The work requires that you are confident in yourself, can work independently, and are willing to learn to make simpler assessments, take vital parameters, and collaborate with experienced nursing assistants, nurses, and paramedics.

As a summer temporary staff member, your engagement and willingness to contribute to our shared work environment are important. Your enjoyment and fun at work are contagious. You like to take initiative and see solutions instead of problems. As a person, you are responsible and always have a good attitude. Collaboration and good service are crucial for success in the role. The work requires good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. In line with Poesin's focus, we view positively if you have knowledge and interest in literature and culture.

About the nursing home Poesin

Stockholm Sickrooms wants to contribute to more people having the opportunity for individualized eldercare based on individual needs. The residence offers 60 apartments spread over three floors and is named Poesin with a connection to literature, as culture is something we value highly.

Within eldercare, we have a unique organization for health and medical care interventions. The doctor responsible for medical interventions at the nursing homes under the foundation's management is employed by us. This strengthens continuity and collaboration in the professional teams. Here, there is a drive and a desire to meet the individual and offer good care and support based on our concept A Good Home. A concept based on the foundation's purpose paragraph from 1867.
