We are currently seeking a midwife with a few years of experience working at a midwifery clinic, who holds prescribing rights, and who wants to be part of launching and running a new midwifery clinic in Jakobsberg, with operations starting in September.

Systems and Work Environment

We currently use the medical record systems Obstetrix and Take Care, but will transition to Cosmiq Birth during the autumn, in accordance with the plan for Region Stockholm.

Your Responsibilities

At Mama Mia Kvarnen, you will initially work in a team of 2-3 midwives. As a midwife, you will perform standard duties at a midwifery clinic, such as pregnancy check-ups, contraceptive counseling, and gynecological cell sampling. The clinic is located together with an established Child Health Care Center (BVC) that has been operating for many years, making you part of a larger context.

Since work at a midwifery clinic is largely independent, you must be driven and accustomed to structuring your own work. At the same time, it is very important that you have good teamwork skills and work for your team, the clinic, and Mama Mia. You must have strong prioritization skills and be able to work at a high pace when required.

Employment and Application

• Permanent position with an initial 6-month probationary period.
• Start date by agreement, with the possibility of starting immediately.

About You

• You must be a licensed midwife with prescribing rights for contraceptives.
• Experience working at a midwifery clinic is meritorious.
• It is important that you are responsible, flexible, positive, and have good teamwork skills.
• Having a professional attitude and a positive approach towards both customers and colleagues is a given for you.
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Mama Mia Kvarnen BMM is located in nice premises, close to the commuter train station in Jakobsberg. We collaborate closely with other Mama Mia clinics as well as our own ultrasound clinics. Three midwives and one specialist doctor work at the clinic. Communication opportunities to our clinic are excellent.
