We are the agency responsible for prisons, probation, remand prisons, and client transport.

Job Description

We are now looking for a colleague to join our team of service technicians within facilities!

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for both internal and external facility maintenance in accordance with the current division of responsibilities with the landlord. This role therefore requires close collaboration with the landlord and external contractors.

The duties within facility operations include, among other things:

• handling and administration of fault reports from the prison's various units
• troubleshooting
• repair (e.g., of work vehicles, TVs, and ride-on lawnmowers)
• maintenance
• assembly of fittings and furniture
• lawn mowing
• snow clearing
• anti-slip treatment
• handling and administration of orders
• handling and administration of invoices

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is self-reliant, structured, and takes great responsibility for their tasks. Your work effort affects other units both directly and indirectly, which is why high demands are placed on good teamwork skills and a service-oriented attitude.

To thrive and succeed in your assignment, it is important that you share the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's basic values regarding a human view of people, respect for the individual, and the belief that humans are capable of development. You are also aware of and have an understanding of how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. We are looking for someone who has:

• Work experience within facility operations or facility services
• Completed upper secondary education or other education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Category B driver's license
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

The following are also meritorious:

• Education with a facility technical focus or other education combined with experience that the employer deems equivalent
• Good computer skills
• Experience with forklift and/or tractor operation
• Experience repairing simpler vehicles
• Experience working with low-voltage electricity
• Work experience within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
