Your Role
In this position, you will work day, evening, and night shifts, voluntary shared shifts, and resource shifts as needed. We collaborate closely with other home care groups within Söderhamn Municipality, and sometimes work may take place within the entire Welfare Sector.
As a nursing assistant, you contribute to ensuring that every user receives the care and support needed to live as independent and meaningful a life as possible. You show respect for each individual's integrity, self-determination, and participation.
Tasks may include support with personal care, meals, cleaning, escorting, and social interaction. It may also include medical tasks after delegation from a registered nurse.
Workplace Description
In the Welfare Sector, we focus on strengthening the resources of adults and the elderly so they can live a meaningful and independent life. Here, approximately 1,100 dedicated employees work within home care, care and nursing homes, home healthcare, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and social psychiatry.
Hemtjänst Kastanjen is a positive group of nursing assistants and care assistants based in Ljusne. We consist of three geographically divided teams that collaborate closely to create security and quality of life for our users.

Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant, preferably with previous experience in care and support work.
Since both computer and telephone are used as work tools, you need to have good digital skills. The work also involves documentation and communication with various parties, which requires that you master the Swedish language well in speech and writing.
A driver's license for car (Category B) is a requirement for the position.
As a person, you see opportunities, take initiative, and are happy to share your knowledge and experiences with colleagues. You contribute to a positive work climate and have the ability to distinguish between the personal and the professional in interactions with others.
