The Neuro and Rehabilitation department is responsible for specialist rehabilitation within Region Norrbotten. Garnis Rehabcenter provides neurological rehabilitation, pain rehabilitation, and stress rehabilitation. We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with Swedish language skills at level C1. Additional qualifications such as courses in rehabilitation for neurological diseases and cognitive rehabilitation, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, ADA – workplace dialogue for return to work, are meritorious. Knowledge of the medical record systems Cosmic, Plattform 24, Pexip, and 1177 is also valued. We also consider it meritorious if you have experience in neurological rehabilitation, performing physiotherapeutic assessments, leading group interventions, digital patient contacts, pain rehabilitation, and stress rehabilitation.

Personal qualities are highly valued. As a person, you are structured, flexible, and able to see the big picture while considering the broader perspective. You have strong collaboration skills and value the benefits of working with others.

What you will work with

We are currently looking for someone interested in working as a physiotherapist within neurological rehabilitation. You are also open to working within pain and stress rehabilitation when needed.

Your main tasks involve rehabilitation interventions both in groups and individually. Since we cover the entire region of Norrbotten, our interventions take place both on-site at the unit and digitally.

We work interdisciplinarily and create a rehabilitation plan together with the patient. Rehabilitation is carried out based on the unit's care programs, and individual interventions are tailored to the patient's goals.

The team consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, doctors, nurses, and psychologists. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and qualities because teamwork is central to our operations.

We continuously work on developing and improving our operations. Participating in development work is a natural part of the job. The Neuro and Rehabilitation department has had a long-term focus on research and development for several years.

The operations are internationally quality-assured according to CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position during daytime hours. Start date September 1, 2026, or as agreed. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
