Occupational Therapist at Furuhöjden Rehab Center

About the Role

Furuhöjden Rehab Center is an outpatient clinic where we receive patients for neurological rehabilitation.

You will primarily be part of our day rehabilitation program, with the goal of providing each patient with the prerequisites to live as active and independent a life as possible. As an Occupational Therapist, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on rehabilitation efforts, both individually and in groups. You also handle referrals and are responsible for booking patients' rehabilitation periods.

You will become part of a cross-professional team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, speech therapists, and social workers. Together, you work closely with the patient based on an individually tailored rehabilitation plan.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed Occupational Therapist with a couple of years of experience in your professional role. If you have previously worked in outpatient care, we view this as an asset.

We are looking for someone who is confident, both as a person and in your role as an Occupational Therapist. You enjoy taking responsibility and contributing to the whole, you like working in a team around the patient but can also work independently when needed. Having a positive attitude and commitment is important to us. You enjoy leading groups and giving lectures on topics related to neurological rehabilitation.

You who apply for this role should speak and write Swedish fluently. If you have experience working in the medical record system TakeCare, we view this as an asset.

Requirements:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist
• A couple of years of professional experience in the field
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in day rehabilitation or outpatient care
• Ongoing or completed Master's degree
• Experience working within neurology

Conditions

The position is a permanent employment with an employment level between 80-100%. We apply a probationary period of the first 6 months. As an Occupational Therapist, you primarily work weekdays, Monday–Friday.

We have collective agreements through Almega/Vision & Akademikerförbunden and apply individual salary setting. We also offer a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK/year.

Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis. We conduct background checks in connection with this appointment.
