We are looking for a Managing Director to lead and drive the development of LAPP Miltronic's operations in both Sweden and Denmark, as well as Fleximark, which operates in Sweden. This is a central leadership role that combines full business responsibility with a strong local presence and close collaboration within an international, family-owned industrial group. The role has a clear commercial mandate and a strong focus on sales, growth, and corporate culture.
LAPP Miltronic in Sweden and Denmark combines one of the market's widest assortments of cables, electrical components, and automation products with high technical competence and qualified advisory services. The company was founded in Stockholm in 1965 but is today a wholly-owned subsidiary of the German LAPP Group and serves as the group's sales company on the Swedish and Danish markets.
Our headquarters are located in Nyköping, where we also have warehousing, a logistics center, and custom manufacturing. Next door to LAPP Miltronic is the sister company Fleximark, founded in 1978 and acquired by Miltronic in 1991. Fleximark is the group's production company for FLEXIMARK® marking systems and supplies the market with marking systems, labels, and accessories. A local office for the Danish market is located in Greve, south of Copenhagen. The companies have a combined turnover of approximately 600 MSEK and employ 100 people.
About the Role
As Managing Director, you have full legal, operational, and commercial responsibility for both Sweden and Denmark. You lead LAPP Miltronic and the sister company Fleximark with a clear mandate to drive profitable growth, strengthen the commercial agenda, and develop a sales-driven and customer-focused culture.
You are responsible for coordinating structures, systems, and ways of working in line with the 'One LAPP' approach, while respecting local cultures and established operations. The role entails full P&L responsibility as well as operational and personnel responsibility. You are expected to have a visible and hands-on presence in Sweden, including production and warehousing, as well as regular presence in Denmark. As part of the leadership team for the Nordic cluster, you represent Sweden and Denmark and contribute actively to strategic discussions, decision-making, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Swedish operations and the Danish sales company with full P&L responsibility, as well as operational and personnel responsibility
- Drive commercial growth with a strong focus on sales results, customer development, and profitability
- Be a visible leader with close collaboration with customers, sales teams, production, and logistics
- Develop and strengthen a performance-oriented, sales-driven, and customer-centric corporate culture
- Lead organizational development and improvements in structure, systems, and processes
- Ensure efficient execution in sales, operations, production, and supply chain
- Represent Sweden and Denmark within the Nordic cluster and contribute actively to strategy and implementation
About You
You are a confident and business-driven leader with a strong commercial mindset and extensive experience from industrial B2B environments. You have a clear background in sales-driven organizations and are comfortable working closely with customers, leading commercial teams, and driving growth.
You have experience from international organizations, preferably within structured or matrix-managed groups, and are accustomed to balancing local responsibility with group strategy. A technical or engineering background is highly valued and strengthens your credibility in dialogue with customers, production, and group functions.
As a leader, you are clear, engaged, and people-oriented. You believe that strong culture, clear direction, and accountability create results. You are comfortable taking responsibility, making decisions, and leading change, while building engagement and collaboration across team, function, and country borders.
