Kulturskolan Raketen is an independent, non-profit primary school located in Björkhagen. In total, there are approximately 250 students from preschool class to grade 9. The school has been in operation for over 30 years and is well-established in the area. Our profile is "Culture, Environment, and Justice," and we work based on the motto "a child has many languages," which among other things means that we integrate aesthetic subjects with theoretical ones in what we call thematic work, starting from preschool class.

The atmosphere at the school is calm, the students are ambitious, and the teachers are experienced.

We are now looking for a qualified teacher in wood and metal crafts. The position is 50% and is a permanent employment with a 6-month probation period. Teaching is scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

As a teacher in wood and metal crafts, you will teach students from grade 4 to grade 9. You will be part of a working group for the lower secondary school and have a colleague in the form of a textile crafts teacher. The school has its own craft room, and teaching is organized in half-classes.

The ideal candidate for this position should:

• focus on collaboration
• have a positive view of students
• have patience and the ability to set clear boundaries
• have experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders)
• be able to build trusting relationships with guardians

The employment is a permanent position at 50% with a 6-month probation period.
