At Stureby Care and Residential Home, we are currently looking for assistant nurses with experience in dementia care for a summer temporary position. To be considered for the position, you must be able to work full-time for at least 6 weeks during the summer period. Scheduled shifts occur during the day, evening, or night. There is also an opportunity to start orientation and work as early as spring.

Your role

As an assistant nurse, you work with care and service interventions based on the elderly person's implementation plan, wishes, and needs. You support the elderly in their daily life and create security through professional and respectful treatment.

You are part of the team surrounding the elderly person, where your specialty is nursing care, and you collaborate with other professional groups to ensure person-centered and high-quality care and social services.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a fully trained assistant nurse with proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Has good computer skills and masters the Swedish language well in speech and writing, as documentation and reporting are an important part of the job.
• Has knowledge of medication management.

It is meritorious if you have experience with:

• Dementia care
• BPSD (behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia) care measures
• Palliative care
• Delegation of medication administration

As a person, you are communicative and good at collaborating with others. We also see that you are flexible and have the ability to adjust tasks based on changing priorities. You have empathy in your interactions with other people and have a genuine interest in working in the profession. We see that you are professional and engaged in your role as an assistant nurse.
