Are you a service professional who wants to contribute to fantastic customer experiences? At #teamlidl, we help each other succeed. And we grow together. We are now looking for an engaged store sales assistant with extended responsibilities, or as we call it – Assistant Sales Manager, who wants to rock 30 hours a week with us at our new store in Haninge opening in autumn 2026!
Your Role
As an Assistant Sales Manager at Lidl, you have a key role! You are the face to our customers, and for you, the customer is always number one. You are expected to be a role model in the daily store operations, ensuring our stores maintain a high standard and exceed customer expectations every day. In addition, your role includes being a good colleague and supporting the team to achieve great results.
The role includes tasks such as:
- Ensuring and delivering excellent customer service in the store
- Participating in daily work in a role-model manner, which includes unpacking goods, ensuring shelves are well-stocked, ensuring freshness and expiry dates of products, keeping the store clean and fresh, and serving customers at the checkout
- Contributing to the store meeting our core pillars of customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability
- Supporting the training of new colleagues
- Taking greater responsibility for store operations, including key figures, when the Store Manager and Sales Manager are not present
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is responsible, has a good sense for customer service, and is a skilled problem solver. You enjoy planning and leading work, and you are driven by working result-oriented and contributing to the store's success in a fast-paced environment. It is an advantage if you have the ambition to develop into a leadership position within store operations in the future.
- We view it positively if you have experience working in a service-oriented industry
- You are flexible with working hours and have a positive attitude towards changes
- You are over 18 years old and fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing
What We Offer
You will work in an environment characterized by our core values: performance, respect, trust, down-to-earth attitude, and community. Because we are growing, you can grow. Fast. Within your role, or towards another. In the same location, or somewhere else. In-store, warehouse, office. Locally, nationally, or globally. We support you on your journey towards more responsibility and new challenges. You become part of a large team where everyone rolls up their sleeves and helps out. You receive everything from wellness benefits, parental allowance supplements, and employee discounts in our stores to free counseling from psychologists, lawyers, and economists, as well as numerous offers via our benefits portal. Of course, you are also covered by collective agreements and a pension plan.
