Do you want to work at the forefront of quality assurance with a focus on customers within process and heavy industry? At DEKRA, we are building our new business area Quality Assurance and Engineering and are now looking for experienced and driven quality engineers who want to take the next step in their careers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a quality engineer with us, you will become part of an expert team supporting our customers in complex technical environments. Your work will include:
- Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) in projects with high technical requirements. Projects may range from minor improvements to existing processes to the construction of new production facilities using innovative technology.
- Audit of welding manufacturing, as well as the manufacture of pipes, boilers, and pressure vessels according to applicable standards.
- Risk assessments and delivery controls to ensure safe and efficient processes.
- Inspection and monitoring of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with national and international standards, such as EN, PED, and ASME.
You will work as a consultant with both Swedish and international customers, which involves business travel both nationally and internationally.
YOUR BACKGROUND
We are looking for you with several years of experience from heavy industrial environments such as manufacturing industry, welding production, power and heat industry, petrochemicals, process industries, paper & pulp, or defense industry.
You have a strong understanding of quality assurance and control within areas such as pipes, boilers, pressure vessels, steel structures, and similar, where manufacturing places high demands on technical and regulatory knowledge.
Your qualifications:
- Several years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, especially within welding production.
- Strong technical competence in materials, welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Extensive knowledge of regulations and standards such as EN, PED, and ASME.
- Advantageous: Certifications such as IWT/IWE and experience with expediting, inspection, and control.
