Do you want to complete your internship (LIA) in a company contributing to sustainable agriculture while gaining practical experience in procurement, category management, and data-driven supplier monitoring? Within Lantmännen Division Lantbruk, we are looking for two internship students for the period of October–December who want to strengthen our category structure and support exciting projects related to the categories of packaging materials and maintenance.

About the role

1) Strengthening category structure and data quality

You will work closely with category managers and contribute to structuring and ensuring the quality of supplier data in our new group-wide Supplier Analytics tool. The goal is to create clearer and more usable category data that supports monitoring, analysis, and decision-making, which is a key part of the development of the Procurement Category within Division Lantbruk.

Examples of tasks:

  • Support category managers in categorizing supplier and item data in our Supplier Analytics platform.
  • Identify data gaps and discrepancies (e.g., duplicate suppliers, inconsistent names, missing fields) and propose actions.
  • Contribute to creating a routine for quality control (QC) of new/changed supplier data and test it on a sample.
  • Perform a "top 10" analysis of the most common data errors and suggest preventive measures.

2) Project support in packaging materials and maintenance

You will support projects related to the categories of packaging materials and maintenance. The focus is on structure, coordination, and analytical support – together with procurement, category managers, and other stakeholders.

Examples of tasks:

  • Gather and structure documentation from suppliers (e.g., quotations, specifications, certificates, terms).
  • Support comparisons of suppliers and alternatives (e.g., price/volume overviews, lead times, Incoterms, risk indicators).
  • Prepare materials for project meetings (agendas, decision support, status reports) and document actions.
  • Help create traceability in the supplier portfolio by structuring master data and project logs.

Who we are looking for

  • You are studying, for example, procurement/logistics, industrial economics, data/BI, economics, or similar, and are looking for an internship.
  • You thrive with structure and analysis – and enjoy making complex information simple and usable.
  • Good ability to work carefully with data and details without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Proficient in Excel and preferably an interest in analysis tools (meritorious).
  • Communicative and flat hierarchy – you collaborate easily with different roles and can drive your tasks forward.
  • Fluent in Swedish and good command of English in speech and writing.

What we offer

  • A value-creating internship with real assignments and direct business relevance.
  • Close collaboration with category managers and project teams – with the opportunity to build a network within Lantmännen.
  • A supervisor and ongoing support, while you are given significant individual responsibility.
  • Practical experience in category management, master data, and supplier/procurement analysis in a large corporate environment.

Application

Please send your application (CV). Please specify which period your internship covers. At the end of the recruitment process, we conduct a background check.
