Your Role

As a summer substitute assistant nurse at Nacka Senior Center (municipal nursing homes), you will become an important part of the work to create a safe, dignified, and meaningful everyday life for our residents.

You work closely with residents, relatives, and colleagues, planning care based on individual needs and wishes. The focus is on person-centered care, where self-determination, participation, and quality of life are central.

Duties include care and nursing, simpler care interventions, supervision, alarm handling, and documentation. You also participate in activities, care meals, and work with contact person responsibilities.

Working hours for the night shift are 21:00–07:00.

Your Experience

For this position, you must have:

• Completed education in healthcare and social care
• Experience with night work
• Several years of experience working in eldercare
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• You must be at least 18 years old
• Documentation and computer skills

What We Offer

Nacka Senior Center is a meeting place for seniors and the municipal alternative for eldercare in Nacka Municipality. Our four senior centers are located in Ektorp, Finntorp, Saltsjöbaden, and Saltsjö-Boo. All residences have both somatic and dementia wards. All residences offer social activities, care, and nursing, as well as fully equipped kitchens. From a health-promoting approach, we create a safe and secure environment where participation and the individual's need for high-quality care and nursing are guiding principles in all interventions.

As a summer substitute at Nacka Senior Center, you are employed by Stab Competence Supply, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing for care personnel during short-term absences and monthly substitutes. You are offered the opportunity to work as an hourly substitute before and after your summer substitute period.

In Nacka Municipality, an extract from the Police Certificate of Conduct is required for work in the home with the elderly and people with disabilities in connection with employment.
