Riksbyggen is looking for a Repair Technician in Gävle.

What will you do?

As a Repair Technician, you will primarily work independently or in a team to handle routine corrective maintenance, repairs following reported faults, and maintenance projects. In addition to handling reported faults, residents and customers order various smaller services, such as repair jobs in apartments and premises. Ongoing contact with residents, customers, and contractors is an essential part of the job responsibilities. You will also handle the purchase of consumables and the maintenance of your own work equipment.

The role of Repair Technician is varied and offers freedom under your own responsibility. Your daily work includes, among other things:

• Routine corrective maintenance following reported faults
• Troubleshooting
• Repairs and maintenance within electrical, construction, plumbing (HVAC), and minor ventilation work
• Handling daily customer contacts
• Status checks

You will use your mobile phone or computer to receive and report on your work. You will work both independently and together with your colleagues, and you are expected to solve the challenges you face in your work on your own. You plan your own workday together with your colleagues and group manager.

You have a high school education and/or vocational training (KY) focused on property operations or management, or equivalent competence acquired in other ways. We would appreciate it if you had experience in similar work. It is an advantage if you have professional certificates/licenses in plumbing or electrical work.

Since computers and mobile phones are a natural part of the work for all employees at Riksbyggen, we would appreciate it if you had some computer skills and could handle a computer at work. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your knowledge through internal training. The role includes being on call.

The position is a permanent employment with a location in Gävle, but work in other locations within the market area may occur.

The position requires a valid driver's license (Category B).
